The journalism an I

When I was in 4th senior form, I always have journalism in my mind. But that doesn’t mean that I was really sure to study this career, as of the enormous quantity of journalists that graduated every year. In spite of this thought that I have about my future, I decide to study this, because is a career that have many aspects that I will like to develop in my life.
I think that too much persons who study my career want something similar, like to treat to change a piece of the world and also our society. And from my point of view I think that is very logic, because the journalism is called the 4th power of our republic, because under any new there is involucrate the different ideas of the journalist that is transmitting a new.
In the future is necessary that all journalists in Chile have to know as minimum two languages, for the reason that in that way we can export some professionals to others countries.
My favorite subject of my career is to transmit sports news, because is the most passion topic of this job.

The best friends

In this photograph you can see me with my best friend of the University, Macarena Cortes. This woman has been a very important support to me in this year and a half that I study in Universidad de Chile, because apart form having the same schedule that I have, she lives nearly to my house. That’s why I like this photo so much, because we appeared so happy, that I feel “Maca” is beside me.
The person that took this photograph was Andrea Guerrero, another important friend to me in the University that yesterday have a camera to photograph every people that want to take one, like me and Macarena.
This picture of Macarena and I was taken yesterday and the situation happens in the University’s Football Fields, when we was watching a match of our friends of first form and third from, playing the local football cup called “King’s Cup”.

A career-related website that I enjoy a lot to visit is la tercera.com, because there I can find the most important news of sports, politic and economy of my country and of the rest of the world.
The first person that shows me this website was Felipe Sasso, a classmate that wants that was informed about the most relevant sports news that were happening in the world, so in that way I can be more prepared in our radio programme “Versus”.
I think that Felipe was right, because every day I can find the most important news of sports well-writes, objective and that I want to read of sports in a website.
This website, such as it wants Felipe, has helped me and my others classmates in our sports space in the local radio, transforming it in the principal site where we took news related with all sports.

My Notebook, My Obsession

My favourite piece of technology is my notebook, where I spend most of my free time doing many things, like playing, chatting, working or exploring on Internet.
I have this notebook since last year, when my old, but not depreciable, computer dead without saying goodbye. I bought it in “Paris”, when they offer me in a price that I couldn’t say no, including also a beautiful notebook kit.
I use it all days, because I have to use to work, specifically to the university,or to my radio programme of sports. I also use my notebook to chat, because there I can speak with all my friends at the same time, and I also use to play, when I’m free.
I have live without computers or notebooks and the only thing I can say is that is very boring and too much complicated, because I have to work in another computers, where maybe I don’t have all the information I need. Also is boring, because I can’t speak with all my friends, thing that I like it a lot. But if this piece of technology doesn’t exist one day I think I will be a bit conformed with the television or something like that.

We will just do it

My name is Diego Espinoza, I'm 19 years old, I born in Santiago, city where I have lived my hole life. I enjoy too much doing sports, like playing football, tennis and baseball. That's my principal reason to have a space in a local radio, that depends of the University, where I can speak of differents sports news that are actually in process.
I am in second grade of journalism in Universidad de Chile, University that demands me to aprove that I know one languagge apart from Spanish. That's why I'm doing this course of English, because I thing it can it be my second languagge that will help in the future to be a better journalist.
